(1) There shall be a Radio Frequency Policy Determination Committee with the following chairman and members for determining and allocating policy related to radio frequency:-
(a)   Minister of Communications and Information Technology or Minister of State -Chairman
(b) Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs – Member
(c) Secretary, Ministry of Defense – Member
(d) Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation - Member (e) Secretary, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology - Member (f) Chairman, Nepal Telecommunication Authority – Member
(g) At least gazetted first class or similar specialist officer as specified by the Government of Nepal - Member - Secretary
(2) The work, duties and powers of the committee constituted as per sub-section (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) To determine policy relating to radio frequencies.
(b) Determination and allocation of radio frequencies for various services.
(c) To determine the price policy of radio frequency.
(d) To lay down a policy for international and multi-purpose coordination of radio frequencies.
(3) Other work, duties and rights of the committee constituted as per sub-section (1) and meeting procedures shall be as prescribed.
